Diving First Aid is the most comprehensive first aid course in the dive industry. While geared toward dive instructors and divemasters, anyone, even non-divers, will learn an indispensable set of first aid and risk-mitigation skills.

DFA includes two components: Basic Life Support, and Emergency Oxygen Provider. Students can enroll in either of these two courses at a cost of $165 per course, or may elect to register for both as a comprehensive bundle for $300.

The DFA Course involves an eLearning component and a Zoom session to be completed before the in-person session. There are no prerequisites, and this course meets the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) standards for CPR.

Refund policy

CUES does not offer refunds for any student that withdraws from a course less than seven (7) days from the scheduled start date. Credit for use in future courses will be given for any unused goods and/or services if the student withdraws less than seven (7) days from the scheduled course start date. There will be no refunds or credit given at any time for goods and/or services rendered, including (but not limited to) activated eLearning codes, class sessions that have already been attended, etc.
