This continuing education course is for certified divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of diving. The course is a progression toward NAUI Leadership roles, and some subject areas are a review and expansion of materials from previous courses. Instructors will specify performance objectives for related courses diving activities and each subject area is a progression in study. 

The prerequisites for this class include being at least 15 years old at the time training begins, and having both Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications.

This course will take place over two full days, October 18 and 19, at Mermet Springs in Belknap, Illinois.

What do I need

All CUES Certification Courses require that you have your own personal equipment: scuba-quality mask, fins, snorkel, boots and surface marker buoy (SMB). For this continuing education course, students must also arrange to bring their own regulator, BCD, and dive computer.


Refund policy

CUES does not offer refunds for any student that withdraws from a course less than seven (7) days from the scheduled start date. Credit for use in future courses will be given for any unused goods and/or services if the student withdraws less than seven (7) days from the scheduled course start date. There will be no refunds or credit given at any time for goods and/or services rendered, including (but not limited to) activated eLearning codes, class sessions that have already been attended, etc.
